Pembroke lodge wedding photography by Bea
Sometimes a couple sees my images and they know straight away they want me for their wedding. I really love it when that happens – it’s the best feeling. Mary-Fe and Chris are one such couple, who happened upon another Pembroke Lodge Wedding I had done this year. I loved their enthusiasm and couldn’t wait to work with them and see the lodge in autumn, as opposed to the spring wedding I’d captured earlier. Autumn is a beautiful time of year to shoot and the colours of Richmond Park do not disappoint. Of course, our day starts much earlier, with the Bride and Groom’s final preparations. Mary-Fe was helped into her Justin Alexander dress and Spanish-style veil by her mother and bridesmaids, while Chris had a relaxer at the pub before moving on to the church. After the lovely ceremony it was on to Pembroke Lodge, where the weather held for drinks and canapés on the terrace. The room was styled with spanish fans for the ladies and cigars for the gents, complemented with vintage coloured roses to really match the autumnal hues outside. Please enjoy the images.

The Lodge is situated at the highest point in Richmond Park with spectacular views over the Thames Valley to the west. Richmond Park is the largest, and to many, the most beautiful Park in London as it comprises of 2300 acres of totally unspoilt classic English parkland with some 650 deer who roam freely in this tranquil setting. Pembroke Lodge is set within 11 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds which are planted all year round. Car parking for 250 vehicles is adjacent to the grounds.
