Gorse Hill Wedding Photography by Bea
Last month we had the great pleasure of capturing the Gorse Hill wedding of Pete and his beautiful Norwegian bride, Katrin. You may remember Katrin and Pete from their cute London engagement session last year. With the help of the Gorse Hill Hotel staff, bridesmaids and of course the best men, the day run flawlessly from beginning to end. Even the rain stopped for a little while for the portraits. With Katrin in her Maggie Sottero dress and Pete in his wedding suit they made a stunning couple.
The speeches are one of our favourite parts of the wedding and this day’s did not disappoint. With speeches in both English and Norwegian the room was soon filled with the sound of laughter, clapping and the groom’s father’s bagpipe playing (which was a surprise to everyone!). Not only did everyone enjoy both best men’s speeches in which we found out about Pete’s starring role in a Lynx advert but also the bridesmaids who made a moving, personal and very funny toast to the couple.
Thank you Katrin & Pete for sharing your special day with us and we wish you both all the happiness in the world! Also, big thanks to my wonderful second photographer Emmie Scott.
Please enjoy the photos.
Built in 1912, Gorse Hill was once home to a number of colourful Edwardian characters, many of whom made their fortunes in transport. But despite its busy past, this hidden gem is now a relaxed and intimate haven. Situated in 17 acres of Surrey countryside, Gorse Hill is a beautiful manor house with a quintessentially English charm. For more details regarding your own Gorse Hill wedding, contact them here.
