Jacqueline and Trebor travelled over 4500 miles for their surprise elopement (more on that amazing day soon) but for now we would love to share their stylish Rome engagement shoot in the beautiful surroundings of Villa Borghese Gardens. Jackie was wearing a gorgeous teal gown by Liz White Couture, which perfectly matched the colours of the park and beautiful Italian architecture. We managed to time the session perfectly, with that glowing, late afternoon light coming through the trees – it was just magical.
Jackie and Trebor were engaged during the sunset too, but on a completely different continent. They went to their favourite hiking spot called Max Patch, with views of the gorgeous mountains of Western North Carolina, USA. They were enjoying their walk, and then suddenly, before Jackie knew what was happening, Trebor was down on one knee proposing! After a shocked second or two, Jackie screamed ‘YES!’ … and then they cuddled up and watched the sunset over the mountains. ‘It was complete bliss,’ remembered Jackie.
We asked Jackie about her beautiful and unusual engagement ring and she happily explained it to us. ‘I have to be honest, I was super duper impressed with my ring! I, of course, had given Trebor some hints as to what style I liked. Things like, “not the big single stone like everyone has,” ” I love floral-dreamy like bands,” etc. Secretively he had been emailing back and forth with one of his friends, who worked at a jewellery store, for months. He pretty much just told them what he really wanted for me, even the rose gold (which, oh my goodness, is amazing) and designed it himself. I am so in love with it!’ So are we!
